VBA Notice for AutoCAD 2010 and above
VBA Notice for AutoCAD 2010 and above
Solution
Applies to:
Legal-Aid 2010 and above, AutoCAD 2010 product families and above
Issue:
Beginning with AutoCAD 2010, Autodesk has announced that the VBA programming language will not be included in the main AutoCAD installation. It will however be made available as a free download from their website. Legal-Aid 2010 and above requires that you have VBA installed in order to function.
If you do not have VBA installed, the following message will likely appear the first time you attempt to run Legal-Aid inside of AutoCAD.
Solution:
To download and install VBA for AutoCAD, go to
http://www.autodesk.com/vba-download
and follow the intructions printed there. Once you've installed VBA for AutoCAD, there is no need to reinstall Legal-Aid.
Exceptions:
This does not apply to Autodesk Inventer and AutoCAD Civil 3D as these products are still shipped with VBA.
