 Can't select a Civil 3D Parcel
Solution Applies to: Legal-Aid 2007 and above

Issue:
When using Legal-Aid inside of Civil 3D, I click on a parcel line but Legal-Aid won't accept it.

 Solution 1:
To select a parcel in Legal-Aid, you must click on the main parcel label, which is usually in the center of the parcel.  Clicking on the parcel boundary will not select the parcel.  This is to ensure that you don't inadvertently select adjoining parcels that share a common boundary line.  Also, if the parcel label has been turned off, you will have to turn it back on in order to select it.

Solution 2:
Make sure that you have chosen the "parCel" option when running Legal-Aid.  You cannot select a Civil 3D Parcel object using the Points or Entities options.
  1. Run Legal-Aid.
  2. When you get to the prompt "Entities <Points> or parCel", select "C" for the Parcel option.
  3. Click on the Label of the parcel you wish to select. (Do not click on the line).
The parcel should now be selected.
